The company was created in 2016 as a result of split of yielding commercial assets of Echo Investment, the majority shareholder of the company became Redefine Properties. In September 2016, Griffin, jointly with Redefine and Echo Investment successfully executed the listing of EPP on the Johannesburg and Luxemburg Stock Exchange including an oversubscribed capital increase of EUR 100m. In 2018, Griffin Real Estate arranged for EPP the facility agreement worth EUR 250m from CPPIB Investments Inc. Additionally, in 2019, Griffin Real Estate helped to arrange a raise of capital at EPP worth EUR 75m taken up by the iGroup. A current diversified portfolio worth EUR 2.5 billion is located in the biggest Polish cities characterized by strong purchasing power, being attractive for international investors. Its goal is to create Poland’s leading, cash-generating platform of well-performing retail that will deliver consistently high returns to its shareholders.
